Calm and softness

Welcome to our home in the hamlet of Hautes-Sièyes, located on a hill overlooking Digne-les-Bains. We, Chantal and Jean-Hugues are happy to welcome you and make you enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the mountains of Haute Provence: Pic d'Oise to your right, the Cousson facing you, the peak of Coward and Cheval Blanc to your left ... We can also see the famous Plateau de Valensole, known worldwide for its lavender fields.

While Provence is at your feet, you may have the chance to observe the majestic flight of a couple of eagles over this beautiful landscape.

This Eagle's Nest is an old and restored building, where three little lords once lived. Their coat of arms is still visible on the keystone of the magnificent front door. The original character of the house has been respected thanks to a patient and meticulous restoration which has preserved its old charm, in particular the mullioned window.

The hamlet consists of a few houses and alleys. Our home is next to a small chapel, also restored. On the estate, there are also the remains of a medieval castle (11th and 12th centuries) with a watchtower which belonged to the Counts of Provence.
